Poppies in Red

My brush is reaching toward the reds these days, and these red poppies are blooming on the easel where they will be framed after drying. I'm not sure what makes me happier, finishing a big painting or finding a great bargain on the perfect silver frame for this one with a coupon! My coupon clipping pals would be so proud, considering I usually don't check price tags until I get to the register.
I usually order from pictureframes.com and have been very happy with them over the years, but I am constantly perusing the open back frame selection at Aaron Brothers on coupon days. The store clerks there know me by name and all but one of them is always willing to slip me an extra large handle bag when I ask - these sturdy handle bags are worth their weight in gold for studio detritus. Last week when the Aaron Brothers clerk who always tells me "NO!" when I ask for a large bag wasn't looking, the friendly cashier gave me double coupon credit. I noticed she looked carefully over her shoulder to ensure that "She Who Guards the Bags" wasn't watching.
I had a big grin over that all the way home.

I wonder if the keep of the bags is Isaac, he has moved from the Galleria Aaron Brothers to the Lovers store and his answer to anything I ask is NO!
As soon as I can figure out which of my user names and passwords go with my twitter account I will follow you on twitter. I realized that between all these sites, I have no less than 9 user names and as many passwords. In the mean time, love the red flowers.

AutumnLeaves you would laugh if you knew all these flowered vases are made up from one real vase in my studio that mutates into other shapes on every painting. Shrink to fit with paint is a wonderful thing!
